2023 MadMan Triathlon

June 3rd 2023 at Lake Herman State Park

Registration closes: Friday, June 3rd at 5pm (No day of registration) 
Check in and packet pickup morning of the event near campsites 44E and 45E from 7:30am through 10am

8:30am - Athlete meeting for kids participants
9:00am - Start time with the Kids Course
9:30am - Athlete meeting for adult course participants
10:00am - Adult courses will start  with the Long course first and then into a rolling schedule with Traditional, Corporate Cup teams and finish up with the Average Joe Course

Need to know information:
- Parking is available near the entrance and throughout the park
- Bike helmets are required for the bike course
- Swim caps are not required
- We advice participants not to wear head phones while competing
- Finish line/Transition area are located near the start line in front of the South Beach
- Water stations will be offered at each bike turn around area and along the run course
- Concession stand will be available on site

Swim - Bike - Run:
- Every course starts with an open water swim on the South Beach - mass start for each course length
- Bike course takes participants outside of the park onto paved roads with some challenging hills
- Run course is the final leg of the race and takes participants through the beautiful trails of Lake Herman State Park

Course lengths:
Kids Course (6-10 years) - 50 yard swim - 1 mile bike - .5mile run
Kids Course (11-14 years) - 50 yard swim - 1 mile bike - .5 mile run
Adult Long Course - 500 yard swim -15 mile bike - 3.1 mile run
Adult Traditional Course - 300 yard swim - 9 mile bike - 2.5 mile run
Adult Average Joe - 200 yard swim - 5 mile bike - 1 mile run
Corporate Cup - (traditional course length)
