Community Center Building Supervisor

Aquatics Assistant: - Madison Aquatic Center
The Madison Aquatics Center is seeking an Aquatics Assistant for the months of May-July. This position is a key piece of the leadership team and is responsible for creating a positive, patron-focused culture and assist with program development. Must be a strong leader whom can carry out expectations through role modeling, strong communication and decision making skills. This position will be responsible for supervision of pool managers, aquatics staff, and concession staff. Must have the ability to supervise, train, oversee staff. Ability to learn and perform pump room maintenance and pool operations is required. Preferred candidate will have previous aquatic experience, at least 1 year in management experience, current lifeguard certification, current CPO certification, and current CPR/AED &First Aid certification. Pool Manager:  - Madison Aquatic Center
The Madison Aquatic Center is seeking pool managers to assist in operation of outdoor aquatic facility. Strong leadership and organizational skills mandatory with ability to supervise, train, and oversee all aquatics staff and concession staff. Ability to learn and perform pump room maintenance and operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Current lifeguard certification preferred. Must be able to work evening, holidays and weekends. Head Lifeguard:
The Madison Aquatic Center and Community Center is seeking professional lifeguards to work under close supervision of the Pool Manager to perform professional duties in ensuring effective performance lifeguard functions.Assist in training, scheduling, and appraising lifeguards. Ensures that lifesaving certifications are current and that all lifeguards are fully competent in performing water rescue procedures and coordinates in ensuring safety of patrons in and around the pool area and monitoring swimmers to enforce all safety rules. Must be willing to deliver the highest level of lifeguard supervision (aggressive hospitality) to team members. Attention to detail and a strong team contributor is a must. Must be able to work evening, holidays,and weekends. At least one summer’s experience at the Madison Aquatics Center is preferred. Lifeguard:
The Madison Aquatic Center and Community Center is seeking professional lifeguards to oversee swimming pool operations and ensure patron safety.Lifeguards will be responsible for enforcing pool rules, maintaining facility safety, responding to emergencies and providing excellent customer service at high quality resorts. All lifeguards must contribute to team effort, take part in all team orientation and in-service trainings, and maintain professional and technical knowledge about pool operation. Must be at least 15 years of age.Current lifeguard certification preferred; certification courses available through the Community Center on March 27th & 28th. Must be an assertive individual willing to deliver the highest level of quality safety enforcement and customer service. Cashier:
The Madison Aquatic Center is seeking self-motivated individuals to oversee concession stand operations.  Responsible for the daily duties of the concession stand and check-in services including but not limited to: food prep,customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking and facility upkeep. Must be a self-motivated, responsible, and courteous individual. Statement of Position:  Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, will be responsible for assisting with special events, instructing and/or coaching various youth activities that will be assigned by the Recreation Coordinator. The number of hours will depend upon the number of activities undertaken by the Recreation Assistant. (Normally 15-20 hours per week)
